2023
The event keeps growing and so does our passion for the tourney!
about the founders
Cam G. and Connor P. met in 3rd grade and grew into instant friends. Shared passion for sports, adventure and FUN has seen their friendship grow over the years. They've played baseball together since they were 8 years old and have logged many hours playing backyard wiffle ball whenever they are together. Their passion for the game and creating a lasting core memory for others brought them together to form Backyard Rules - Wiffle Ball Tournament.

concessions FOR
A CAUSE
If you've ever been the sibling of a passionate baseball player, you will know you log many hours at the baseball field. A love of a good concession stand cannot be taken for granted and rest assured any good baseball sibling knows the difference. So if their brothers were going to host a wiffle ball tournament - two baseball sisters decided they were going to build a concession and do it for a good cause.
Cam and Connors sisters - Mel and Kendall started doing Concessions for a Cause the founding year of the tournament in 2021.
In 2021, they raised funds to be able to create "Blessing Bags" for the homeless throughout Milwaukee. They created the bags and distributed to friends and family who passed the bags out throughout the city.
In 2022, they raised $400 which was split between the Jackson Sparks Foundation and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
In 2023, they raised $503 and a generous donor matched the money raised bringing the total to $1,003 to be split between the Jackson Sparks Foundation and Children's Hospital of Wisconson
Throughout the event many baseball siblings join in the fun to help work the stand and we appreciate all who support the Concessions for a Cause at this annual event.
